Membership Information

 

Artisans of the Trail.There are three categories of membership.

RETAIL: This category is for retail locations featuring the work of juried members of Artisans of the South Carolina Cotton Trail. Entry in the program will include being listed in all printed publications, maps, and on the website; being eligible to display approved ASCCT signs and graphics; and entry into ASCCT wholesale shows at no charge.

    FEES/REQUIREMENTS: Retailers must have a store location(s), and must have a valid Retail License. Retailers must pay the $50 annual dues and purchase at least $500 worth of items from one or more juried members to enter the program, and then must pay annual dues and purchase at least an additional $200 per year to stay in the program.


COLLECTOR: Collectors are non-juried individuals, organizations and businesses who wish to support the mission of the ASCCT. Collectors will be invited to all non-wholesale galas, and will be granted free entry to all ASCCT retail shows.

    FEES/REQUIREMENTS: Collector level membership fee is $50/year.

ARTISAN: There are three levels of Artisan Membership:
        JURIED ARTISAN: This category is for those artisans whose work is juried into the ASSCT and who have paid their annual dues. Artisans will be listed in all printed publications, maps, and on the website; will be eligible to display approved ASCCT signs and graphics; and will be eligible to enter all ASCCT shows upon payment of appropriate show fees.

           FEES/REQUIREMENTS: Artisans must pay an initial $75 fee, which covers the jury process for both the wholesale/retail shows and the gallery show, and includes dues for the first year of membership. Membership must be renewed yearly at $50/year.
        JURIED ARTISAN - PHOTOGRAPHY: Qualifications and fees are the same as above, but a Supplemental Photography Application must be included.
        EMERGING ARTIST: This category is for emerging artists who are not ready for the jury process, but wish to participate in workshops, trainings, mentoring and other non-exhibit opportunities that may arise. Membership includes free entry to all ASCCT retail shows.
